Wow! It's been 3 years since we got married. Time flies. Married life is pretty similar to when hubby and I were dating other than now I get to see him everyday and not just on the weekend. However he does make it a point to just spend weekends with me and weekdays purely on work (no date nights on weekdays unless it's an occasion or a public holiday).
We often talked about starting a family. There were times that I felt it would be fine with me if we didn't have any kids, so I had a cut off date - if I turned 35 and still wasn't pregnant, then we wouldn't have any kids. Who would have thought that I would fall pregnant so fast (just after a few months of trying). I figure the weekly yoga sessions had really helped! Many cases of women falling pregnant easily after doing yoga. I confirmed my pregnancy 2 months short of turning 35. At that time my sis from Oz was here. Everyone was elated. However this didn't deter me from going to Krabi with my siblings and nieces for snorkeling. Prior to knowing I was pregnant I was actually doing quite a few yoga poses that may have endangered my baby. Thank goodness everything's ok. I even managed to squeeze in a trip to Singapore in December.
It has been a pretty good 2009 with some ups and downs. I am officially not working anymore as I just want to take this pregnancy easy. I am both excited and scared about impending motherhood...the usual questions like "is this the end of my life as I know it?" "Will I ever go on a holiday again?" "Will my kid be and angel or the opposite?" "Hope he turns out healthy and normal" (preferable with my looks and hubby's brains):-) So many questions but I guess time will tell...
